Have you ever wondered why it’s so dang hard to make decisions sometimes?
Well, there’s some good news and there’s some bad news.
The good news is there is an explanation as to why you struggle to make decisions sometimes. It’s called decision fatigue. More on that soon.
The bad news is our brains are only capable of handling a certain amount of decisions each day and you might be using yours on deciding on things like what’s for dinner.
Let me pause here for a second…
The dinner question. If there was a scale of the most dreaded question of moms, I think that one would top the charts. Anytime I hear it, I think my brain implodes a little bit. Are you with me on that?!
So, about the number of questions, you can make each day – this isn’t just something I’ve made up. There are some smart scientist that have done studies and estimate that we make 35,000 decisions every single day. That’s so crazy to me! Would you have guessed it was so high?!
The more decisions you make, the less effective you get at making them. That’s why when 5 o’clock rolls around you get that dinner question, you want to curl up in a ball and cry. You’ve spent your whole day making a bazillion decisions and now your brain is fried.
Top leaders such as former United States President Barack Obama, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg have been known to look for even the most basic ways to reduce the number of decisions they have to make each day. Each of them have limited their outfits down to just one or two options. When they open their closet, they just reach in and grab. No trying on 10 different outfits and then comparing shoes and accessories. They keep it simple because they want to save their brain power for the important things that will surely come their way during the day. Maybe easier said than done if you are a fashionista but you get the idea.
How Our Brain Makes Decisions
Making decisions takes energy so the more you make, the more it takes out of you. Prince Ghuman, a neural marketing guru outlines that our brain operates in two modes when making decisions.
- Reactive: This mode is mostly automatic and makes decision-based on intuition and what is happening to you or around you. This is like driving to the store and switching lanes based on the cars around you or stopping at that stop sign. You really don’t spend a lot of time and brainpower on these – they just happen.
- Deliberate: This mode makes rational and analytical decisions. These are the decisions that your brain really has to work hard for and it has a finite capacity to do. This could be about your online store, what to wear, or what’s for dinner. Which of these do you want to spend your finite supply of decision-making ability on?!
So, now you know that you are making 35,000 reactive and deliberate decisions each day but the scary part is, other studies show that your brain can only make 75 of those deliberate decisions each day before it runs out of steam.
Are you draining your brainpower by making too many unnecessary decisions each day?
If you’re like me, that’s a big ole’ YES!
- Brown or black belt?
- Necklace or no necklace?
- Bring an umbrella or not?
- Drive or Uber?
- Reorder products or not?
- Funny movie or scary movie?
- Pizza or Chick-Fil-A? (just kidding, that’s not a decision)
You get the point, though. Our decision-making bandwidth can quickly get used up by things that don’t really matter.
The important question becomes… How do you decrease the number of decisions you are making, thus decreasing decision fatigue, so that you can focus on the things that matter – the things that really move the needle in your business and your life.
How To Reduce The Number Of Decisions You Make
The first thing you can do is take notes from the powerful leaders that I referenced above and reduce your wardrobe options. I’m sure you’ve noticed that I keep things simple with my outfits and it’s because of exactly this. I don’t want to waste 10 minutes every day deciding on what to wear. If you see me anywhere, I’ll likely be wearing an empowering shirt (I call them my superhero capes) and some shorts or a skirt. Simple, quick, and effective.
Tip: Clean up that wardrobe and get rid of unnecessary things and look for simple solutions to your daily outfits so you can “grab and go”.
Another area you can make some progress is food. Researchers say that we make 226.7 decisions each day on what we are going to eat. I totally believe it. Think about all the decision making that goes into one dinner for your family – what is the meal, do you have the ingredients, what time should you start cooking, who’s going to help with what, etc, etc. That’s a lot of brainpower just to put one meal on the table for your family. Look for ways to streamline this process and take away all the unneeded decisions.
Tip: Look into meal delivery options in your area to have food delivered to you so you don’t have to go to the grocery or spend time cooking.
Why You Need To Create New Habits
Yea, I know – you hear it all the time. Create a habit to lose weight, eat better, sleep better, etc. But the facts are the facts. Creating (good) habits can totally transform your life.
To create habits, you have to make it easy for yourself. Let’s take the example of saving $5 every day. This is a great habit to have if you can do it subconsciously but if you have to go out of your way to remember it every time, you will forget it – no doubt about it.
So, how do you make it easy?!
Tip: Set up an account at your bank that automatically moves $5 every single day from your checking account into your savings account. Then forget about it.
There are tons of great habits that you can easily implement whether it be for your life, family, or business.
Drinking water was a big one for me. For years I struggled to drink the proper amount of water. I mean, I wanted to, but for some reason, it just rarely happened. That was until I found the trigger that helped make it effortless. That trigger for me was the perfect water bottle. Now I carry it around like I do my cell phone and I routinely get 1-2 gallons of water per day.
Working out is another big one for a lot of people – and it was for me too. I wanted it badly but always found the excuse for not going – too busy, too tired, etc. Then I found a way to create a habit and for me, it was as simple to stop thinking about it. Yea, my habit was to literally not think about it. When my alarm goes off, I kick those thoughts of hitting the snooze button out of my head and get on with living a healthier life.
How To Create New Habits
Getting the idea to create new habits is the easy part, but implementing might leave you either not starting or constantly back at ground zero. That’s because there are strategies to making your habits stick.
The people that you see with unbreakable habits didn’t get there overnight. And I sure know that I didn’t get there overnight, nor am I perfect with maintaining them. But even if I do fall off the wagon, it’s so much easier for me to get back on because I understand the foundational elements for create habits that stick.
If you’re ready to create your own unbreakable habits be sure to check out this episode of the Because I Can Life podcast because we are diving into all things decisions, habits, and how to create a better and more efficient life!
See you there!

Some of things that Alison discusses in her podcast are really simple. But sometimes you need it laid out in these terms for it to just go in. And go in it does. Meaning you leave each episode full of confidence and aspiration with a check list of to do’s or things to try out. She shares information bombs that others in her position would never share (fear of giving away their secret sauce) and every step of the way you feel like she’s championing your specific journey. She is golden and this show should be in the library of everyone thinking or currently doing Ecommerce. Keep it up Alison! X

I find these podcasts useful, filled with good tips backed by her experience. She’s also very optimistic and makes me feel like I can do it! Which is why I want to get started! Ok Alison, this question is for you - I want to start selling online in an effort to fund my college education! Obviously I don’t have a lot of time, and more than that, I don’t know where to start lol! Do I create a Shopify store? Do I start selling on someone else’s site (and whose?!)? Loved this episode and how broken down and step by step the details were. Question for you: How do you decide on a business name and shop for an e-commerce store if you don’t have a niche? Or do you only recommend opening a store for those who do? In the beginning, you sold a lot of random things that didn’t relate to each other, so did you use third party selling websites to sell or did you start your own store and how do you do that without a specific product or niche?

- Hopeful:)by Polka. Lover from United States
So far I’m really excited about this podcast....and hoping it doesn’t all lead to what so many other podcasts I’ve listened to have, which is “I’ll tell you just enough to get you excited and start to believe you can do it, but to really start to change your life it’s time to pay for the membership/course and if you can’t afford it that’s just an excuse”. I’ve become a bit of a pessimist in the self-improvement journey while trying so hard to get started but not having much cash to do so. I’m that mom stuck living credit card payment to credit card payment which doesn’t exactly leave money to get started. I’m hoping this podcast is what I’ve been searching for to guide me on how to finally get something going that will bring hope and real change for my future. I love Allison and I have faith that she’s who can help me change my life!♥️

If you're looking to learn about building a successful online business, following your passion, and drive from a real person who practices what she preaches, this is the place! Alison is passionate about others successes- you can hear it in her voice. Against her norm of staying out of the spotlight and working behind the scenes Alison pushed past her fears of putting her face out there to follow her inner drive to teach others how she has been uber successful in several online businesses. She is still active in maintaining several online businesses and has taught me (and thousands more) how to build our own businesses. She is unselfish and wants success for all (and teaches how to do it without going into debt!). She gives so much to help others build their own dreams. Alison is the first mentor that I have found that doesn't hold back in sharing each piece to the complicated puzzle of successful business practices from idea to distribution to customer care. She doesn't promise magical overnight success- but gives you the keys you need and reminds you that your success depends on your dedication and hard work. I can't wait to see what her future episodes bring. Thanks Alison, for overdelivering yet again.

- Alison Prince WALKS THE WALK Like No Other Person I Knowby Supreme Dragon Slayer 69 from United States
Full Disclosure. I met Alison and her amazing family just a few years ago and in that time I have witnessed an incredibly humble person step into even more of her greatness. This is someone who chases Impact over Significance in everything she does. In a world where most “big marketing gurus” who just yell louder to be heard and rely mostly on manufacturing celebrity to become a house hold name... Alison has been actually walking the walk for decades. She is family focused. She is heart centered. But make no mistake. She is one of the most BRILLIANT Marketers and Business Builders in the world. She had proven herself time and time again on her multiple businesses in multiple niches. All. From. The. Ground. Up. So yes. I know her. Which makes me qualified to write this review bc if you do have an opportunity to ever meet her in real life, feel good knowing she is the same in real life as she is on this podcast. Dave

Welcome to today's podcast. It's Tuesday. That means tomorrow ClanCon Live 2020 is about to happen. Now, if you're not familiar with ClanCon, it is our yearly event that we throw, that I'll tell you what, it raises the roof. We bring in expert speakers from around the country, to come to talk on business, on marketing, on shipping your products, and it is such a life-changing event, that the first year, last year when we did it, we sold out of tickets in 13 hours. And last year, we sold out of this year's tickets, even before the weekend was over. And we had so many demands that we actually had to open it up for another few hours in September, because so many people were so mad they couldn't get tickets. So, this year, it's at 400 people that are coming in for the event, and I'll tell you what, we have been prepping long and hard to make this second annual event the best anybody has ever been to. So, make sure you're watching on social, because we'll open up tickets again for 2021, and I have a feeling that they will sell out quickly just like they did in 2019 and in 2020. So, watch for those tickets because they do not go on sale very often, because we sell out. We just... they just go so fast. So anyway, I want to dive into today's topic while you're watching, setting your alarm, to watch social media, to watch for when those tickets go on sale. But today's topic, I want to talk about why you can't make decisions. And, somewhere in this world, it's five o'clock. Which means right now, there's a tired mother, who is being asked the age-old question, say it with me of, "Mom, what's for dinner?" Does that question kind of like really make you cringe?
If I'm honest, okay, I adore my children. But when they asked me that question, I can almost feel like my brain fold in on itself, like a piece of odd origami. I don't know why that question. At the end of the day, it just feels so painful. But I don't think I'm alone. I think it's a question that is one of the most painful, repetitive questions that gets asked daily in every family. So Why is this question so painful? I mean, it's just a question, right? Well, it's the basis of why we have problems making decisions. Okay? So have you ever gone for a run, you're just about to head out the door when you realize there's something in your sneaker poking you, and might be a pebble or a Lego. You're not even sure at this point, right? You consider trying to shove that mysterious object to one side of your sneaker with your toes and just hope for the best right because you really don't feel like taking off your shoe again, and then trying to tie it and Oh, just you just don't want to do that. But you realize if you don't deal with that annoying poking now, kind of find yourself 30 yards from your house trying to balance on one foot and neighbor staring at you while you are throwing your shoe off trying to find that treasure that some child might have just stuck in your shoe. Okay, decision making can often feel like going for a run you have no every intention of making a decision, there's something poking you causing pain stopping you from moving forward. That pebble that logo in this instance, is decision fatigue. Yes, decision fatigue is a real thing. According to a guy named Ray Williams, we make 35,000 decisions every single day. You heard that right. 35 comma 000 35,000 decisions a day. Now is Ray Williams. Exactly right. I don't know but thinking about it and trying to decide whether that number can possibly be right has me feeling a bit fatigued. We don't often give our brain all the work it does. on our behalf much thought I mean, think about all of the thinking that you do each day. Can you imagine what it would feel like if you had to do 35,000 arm curls every single day with Without any rest days,
after half, most of us wouldn't even be able to move our arm. I mean, after like 1000 a fraction, we wouldn't even be able to move our arm. And we'd have to drink our house through straws right? After 35,000 decisions, your brain is exhausted. So maybe that's why, at the end of the day, that question of Mom, what's for dinner is so dang painful. By the end of the day, we can't possibly make one more decision. And I think that's why Netflix binges happen. There's no decision making involved, right, you press play, and an entire season plays one episode after another. You just need to sit there and stare at every once in a while blink right? Uber successful people know about this decision fatigue and they make choices in their life to lighten their brains load.
Right. You may have heard the reasoning behind Steve Jobs attire, you know, his famous black turtleneck and Levi's, right. He wanted to not have to think about his wardrobe every single day. Even her former President Barack Obama was asked about how he makes his decisions. And he said, you'll see I only work gray or blue suit. I'm trying to pare down decisions. I don't want to make decisions about what I'm eating or what I'm wearing, because I have too many other decisions to make. famous physicist and all around. Genius Albert Einstein has been reported to having always purchased several versions of the same gray suit, because he didn't want to waste brainpower on choosing an outfit each morning. All of these famous people didn't have some super strong decision-making abilities. No, these simply understand that the brain only has so much power so they reduced the number of decisions they need to make so they can go full power on the ones That really make a difference. Think about those arm curls. Again, if you only had to do a reasonable amount, let's say 100 a day, you could complete them all, and it would allow you to grow versus constantly feel like a quitter, but you never hit the 35,000. Right? Your brain has limits as well. Okay, so here's the fun back. decision making is an energy-consuming process. Right? Well, according to Prince Gilman, he's a minimalist co-founder of 15Center and a professor of neural marketing. He says when it comes to making decisions, our brain functions in two modes, one mode is largely automatic, it makes reactive decisions based on intuition. The second mode is deliberate, it makes a rational analytical decision he explains that the second mode is finite, which means we can only make so many logical decisions before the tank is empty. So each of our daily decisions are required conscious attention and mental energy. To make such a decision we need to compare options analyze the pros cons try and predict possible outcomes right. Now if you're wondering, well, Alison how many decisions on average Can we make before the tank hits empty? Well, experts have landed on a number of conscious decisions that we make every single day before we run out of steam to be 75. Knowing that you only have enough brain gas to make 75 conscious decisions every day. Think about some of the decisions you waste your brainpower on. green shirt or blue brown belt or black Egg McMuffin. Should I take an umbrella or not taxi or subway pizza or sushi for lunch? funny movie Scary Movie. You can see it's clear that excessive unimportant many decisions waste this finite resource and take a toll on your day to day well being. But what if you could avoid decision fatigue. I don't know if that's really entirely possible. But what if just by eliminating even half of the unimportant decisions that you have to make each day, it could help you feel like you're not so drained. By the end of the day I was listening to a book called Willpower Doesn't Work by Benjamin Hardy. If you have not read that book, flag it, it is a very, very, very good book. And he was talking about how when the future writes about our generation, he doesn't think it's going to be about social media, e-commerce, Amazon. He thinks it's going to be about how we had too many decisions, too many choices.
And whether we became a victim of decision fatigue, it has yet to be determined whether we will but at this point, it's not looking that good. So the obvious question is, how do we decrease fatigue so that we can really focus on the things that matter in our family that matter in our business. So the obvious question is, how can we decrease decision fatigue? Well, ironically, you're gonna have to put on your thinking cap and make some decisions to help you to decrease your decision fatigue. But stick with me because I'm about to share some things that you can do to conserve your brain's energy. So by the end of the day, when your angelic seven year old asks Mom, what's for dinner? You don't lose it and throw a box of Hot Pockets across the kitchen. All right, you're ready for it? Okay, here we go. Number one, be your own smart meter. Most of us waste a lot of energy in our homes without even knowing it right. Until we get the electric bill then we find ourselves yelling at our kids to shut the door so that we don't heat the outside and to turn the lights when they leave the room. Decreasing decision fatigue is a bit like decreasing the amount of electricity you waste in your home. Many people are using smart meters now to fully comprehend how and where they using energy efficiently and where they're wasting it, this ultimately helps them to find ways to conserve it. So how can you be your own smart meter? I'll start taking an honest look at some of the decisions that you make on a daily basis. Write them down if you have to, are some of them an obvious waste of precious mental energy? Is it really worth seven minutes of your time to decide whether you should play Candy Crush, or to scroll on Instagram? I mean, those seven minutes and then probably 30 minutes to 60 minutes after have wasted time won't help you to grow your business. We can take a cue from some of the brightest minds in history and clear as many unimportant everyday decisions of our mentalist and find workarounds will free up our energy. Einstein and Steve Jobs knew that choosing an alpha each day can be a diabolical process for most human beings. If you've ever had a toddler now's you know if given Liberty they'll go through 15 clothing changes in a day. We've all been the one they want to wear and a huge heap of pile in the middle of the floor. It's almost like a clothing bomb exploded. Just because we're older doesn't mean that we don't have our own clothing bombs going off in our brains each day.
Think of all the dang decisions, what colors textures, the cold, harsh I layer. These pants make my hip look too big. Does that sweater my boobs look too small. It's too much ever notice how I'm not fancy. I'm totally okay with it. I was sick of the bomb piles. I moved to an empowerment t shirt and some sort of shorts or skirt. I like putting on a shirt that makes me feel like I'm wearing a cape like a superhero. I get to step into it each and every day. I figure if Superman can wear a cape, I can wear mine, right? I got people to save. Now I'm not opposed to dressing up fancy or putting on nice clothes. But personally, I don't want the responsibility of making that decision every single day especially as a mom of four. I've watched what the successful leaders of the world Where and it's simple. And it's not just the men even women are saying no to the wardrobe madness. Sara Blakely keeps things simple most day, Jenna Kutcher wears leggings in her house almost every single day. Now, if you are into fashion, this one's not gonna work with you. And that's okay being your own smart meter isn't a one size fits all approach, you're going to have to take a look at what you do every day and figure out what you can do to pare down the number of unimportant decisions you make to save room for the important ones. And if you do this, you'll have more gas in your tank to give the big decisions that truly impact your life and your family's life. More. Oh, yes, I did say on one hospital that what are some other places you can trim the decision making? Well, how about what you eat? Here's another fun fact. According to the researchers at Cornell University, we may 226.7 decisions each day, just on what we eat, whether it's buying the food, prepping the food or eating the food. We spend a lot of brain energy on this topic and let's be real. So many of us are on special diets to lose weight gain, weight gain muscle control our blood sugar, reduce gluten beat allergies look younger, get rid of joint pain.
Just saying it all is exhausting, right? Think of the hours spent counting calories macro versus micro meal planning each and every day of the week. This is madness, my friends madness. My good friend Alex or Mozi just came out with pre prepped Mills has all done for you and shipped straight to your front door. And they are so good. Now the problem is they don't ship to Puerto Rico, which I'm working on that. So right now. I pay my daughter to help me to meal prep, more and more families around the world. are using meal delivery services to stop the madness. And you know what's kind of crazy meal kit delivery service is one of the fastest growing niche markets. And revenue is expected to grow to over 10 billion US dollars in 20. From just 1 billion in 2015. So if you like to make meals easier to free up some brain energy, look into meal delivery services, there are so many choices online out there, and many offer amazing healthy meals for your family. There's no thinking involved. Open the packages, do some minimal assembly heating and then you're done. And if your kids don't like the mill, just do it Jared and I do. we'd like them to make themselves a nice piping hot bowl of plain oatmeal. We're not sure order cooks in our family. Game create new habits. Okay, I know seriously creating habits stink, right? I totally get it. But the thing is habits work. It's a bit like when people roll their eyes when they hear personal trainers talk about eating less and moving more. Yeah, you can roll your eyes all you want, but the body works the way the body works. And if you want to lose weight and get in shape, you've got to do it, eat less, move more, your brain works the same way. So although the phrase creating new habits often generates eye rolls, the truth is creating habits allow us to start making more important decisions. Go on autopilot so we can free up some of that brain energy. Take saving money as an example, you can either spend one of your 75 daily decisions on saving money or you can get to the habit of saving money, so that that choice becomes one of your subconscious ones. So you get into the habit of saving five bucks a day, you no longer have to think about savings. It's just going to happen automatically, like digestion, or your heartbeat and the end of five years you've got over $9,000 Can you imagine waking up to find $9,000 In your coat pocket, you'd be in heaven. Right? Okay, so that $9,000 is good news. And in order to get that good news, you've got to first form the habit because let's face it, if you consciously have to save $5 every day, you're gonna forget it on most days, right? And then other days You do remember, you might say, forget it. Let's just go buy that ice cream cone or scone, anyway, right? So creating this new saving habit each day automatically, you save money. It's kind of like how you can auto pay your bills and you don't have to think about it. It just magically happens. So you can set up accounts at your bank to help you to start saving that money without you even having to think about it.
So what are some other habits that would be beneficial for you to create so you can positively impact your life, your health, your business, while conserving brain energy? How about drinking water? That could be a new habit. We all know that we should be drinking more Water and we're more face to think about it and make this effort. It just doesn't usually happen. So a few years ago I was getting migraines way too often and I'm not just talking small migraines either. They're the kind that left me wondering if I was having a stroke, blindness, paralysis numbness like I was given the whole kitten caboodle with ease my mom My grandpa had him so I learned what to expect. Anyway, I came across an article about dehydration was a trigger for migraines. And for years I tried to create a habit of remembering to drink water, it never stuck until I found my favorite mug and started carrying around like I do my cell phone like it just goes with me. Now I get about one migraine a year. Now I know this water thing won't work for everybody but it worked for me. And now carrying this mug around. I drink one two gallons of water a day. And I've built in that water habit. So what about the habits of working out My habit that I created was to stop thinking about it. I know this sounds weird, but I actually created a habit to stop thinking which, as a teacher, like, the last thing I ever want to tell my students to do is to stop thinking. But with this one, I actually found it to be the key. So my alarm goes off at 530. And I literally have to tell myself to stop thinking because my brain will do everything in its power to talk me out of heading to the gym at 5am. It tells me I'm crazy. It tells me that I'm gonna get hurt. It tells me that my bed is so much warmer in safer and outside world is way too scary, right?

my very own brain is talking me out of living a healthier life. But since it's not possible to put a restraining order on my brain, I've got to figure out a way to work with it right. And my way was to train my brain stop thinking when the alarm goes off. Thoughts creep in Literally imagine myself putting those thoughts out of my head to silence them, get out of bed and move, it's gotten easier over time. And even on I'm falling back into sleeping in for weeks at a time getting back on the gravy train is a lot easier. Now I'm not perfect at creating new habits, but my comebacks are getting so much stronger. Yes, my habit of not thinking is creating a healthier version of me. Okay, so now in order to free up some of the brain power, we've got to create new habits, but how do you go about doing this? So here's some tips to get you started.
Number one is commit you've probably heard the data that says it takes a new habit 30 days to finally stick. Well I know from my own experience, that's hogwash. I can eat a cookie in a day. And the next day I have another cookie. I mean, day two or day three, I can build a cookie eating habit so quickly, right? But when I commit to doing something healthy or something that's hard I noticed that when I first get started, it's difficult. But over time, it becomes easier. It becomes some conscious in nature. And if you keep doing it over and over and over again, it just becomes easier. So you've got to commit. The second one, take baby steps. Once you become your own smart meter, and you're like, Oh, I need to do this, this, this and this and this to free up brainpower. It's gonna feel so awesome. But don't do that. Don't try and create all 30 new things in a day, week or even a month, start slowly and build. When I started drinking more water in a day. I didn't just go drink two gallons in a day. My goodness, I'd been in the bathroom every 15 minutes, right? I worked my way up. I gave myself permission to ease into it and keep building on from there. Third, be consistent. You'll help train your brain if you give your brain the same color. lose every single day for example, you want to go to the gym or go to the same time every day. When you give your brain certain cues like time place circumstance, the new habit becomes easier to stick because you're not thinking about shango the gym the morning I go the gym at night, no
same time, every single day. The fourth one form a trigger triggers are like rituals that you can use during a right before executing your new habit. For example, let's say you want to start doing Facebook Lives to show the world your amazing product, but you're a little bit nervous about it. What if you go and you put on a shirt, for instance, because I can shirt you put that on and it helps you to feel like you went from Clark Kent to Superman. You got this shirt on like your cape on and you're about to go out there and you're about to help people's lives become better with your product. So that shirt can come a trigger of confidence for you to step in front of the camera. Okay. So creating new habits involves you committing, taking baby steps being consistent and forming a trigger. Now what we want to do next is we want to get into creating a schedule. A very effective way of saving brainpower is to plan the night before when I taught junior high. I noticed that when my lesson plans were completed the day before the day after ran so smoothly if I tried to throw something together in the morning, oh, la-z were things chaotic prepping the night before, let my brain know what was going to happen. So it didn't use unnecessary energy trying to figure out what's going on. Think of it kind of like transitioning a toddler. If you let them know what they can expect to happen, then there's less of a tantrum right. Bottom line is your brain is calmer and more relaxed when it knows what to expect. The next thing is batch working. You've heard me talk about batch working so much if you're sitting down to work And you are using your decision making to say Should I check Facebook? Oh, I gotta check Instagram Oh, I gotta get an offer out. Oh, I've got to create an email that's taking up so much of your brain energy, sit down focus, batch out your work get all of your social media content done for the month. Get all of your emails done for the month get all of your offers built out for the month, block out a set of time and get to work on one specific topic. You're going to save the brain energy that you so desperately need to get us through the rest of the day. Okay, then this next one is a big one for me. Because think about it stuff sounds cool to have right like a boat, a cabin technology gadgets. But with each new acquisition comes decisions regarding all that stuff.
