Do you ever find yourself skipping sleep so you can ship products to your customers? Do you feel like you're missing out on life because your days are consumed with shipping?

If your answer is yes, then this episode is for you!!

I can't wait for you to meet this week's guest, Vernon Evans!

Vernon is the owner of a fulfillment company that helps entrepreneurs like you who have way too much shipping on their hands.

How does he do it?

He answers this question and more in today's episode, so tune in now!

Do You Ship Your Products?

I have heard way too many times that people are staying up late so they can ship their products out the door. And if you know me, you know I don't want that to happen.

Maybe you’re not finding time to spend with your family, or you're skipping your vacation because you feel like you need to stick around and ship your products out to your customers. If you’ve ever found yourself in this situation, then it's time to reconsider your shipping strategy.

After all, the beauty of running your own business is in being able to take vacations or get a good night's sleep while knowing that your orders are still being sent to your customers on time.

This is exactly why I brought in today’s guest! Vernon Evans started a fulfillment company to help entrepreneurs like you get your products into your customers’ hands; without you actually having to ship anything

But why should I choose a fulfillment center, you ask?

Simply because that time you save from not having to ship your products can be used in better ways, such as growing your business, working with influencers, getting your products listed on marketplaces, or growing your email list.

Vernon’s Shipping Story

Vernon says he started his fulfillment center, “Evans Fulfillment”, because of his wife. You see his wife —a dear friend of mine and an amazing woman— is a super successful business owner. When her business started blowing up, she and Vernon started looking for a fulfillment center that would cater to their needs.

However, they went everywhere and talked to every fulfillment center within driving distance, and still couldn’t find the right one for them. Either the price was too high, they didn’t have the right customer approach, or they simply couldn’t handle the volume.

So, Vernon decided, “Hey, why not do it myself until we can find the right fulfillment center?”

Evans Fulfillment

Vernon started shipping the products for his wife, and after a while, the only logical step seemed to be opening his own fulfillment center.

They already knew people who needed fulfillment services, and Vernon enjoyed the work, so he went with it!

This was a big change for Vernon. For the last thirty years, he had worked as a custom wheelchair designer for children with disabilities. He got to go around and meet the kids and create things that would give them their independence back.

However, when COVID hit, this all stopped. He couldn’t meet the children anymore, and the business went under.

When his wife's business needed fulfillment, he stepped in. Of course, this was a very different type of career. At first, he felt like he went from designing wheelchairs to simply putting things in a box. His mindset soon changed when he realized he was doing a lot more than that. He was listening to each individual business owner, figuring out their needs, and helping them get their independence back so that they could focus on their business, just like he did with the children he designed wheelchairs for!

Today, Vernon’s business is growing, and he has helped many with their shipping needs.

If you're ready to get back to focusing on your business and maybe have a few more nights of better sleep instead of shipping, you might be ready to switch to a fulfillment center.

But how do I know which fulfillment center is right for me?

You're going to want to listen to what Vernon has to say in this episode! I promise you, he won’t disappoint!
